Dalmore Port Wood Reserve 750 ml

Single malt from the Dalmore distillery, initially aged in American white oak casks before enjoying a finishing period in Port pipes. These casks were sourced from well-known port producer W&J Graham's. This isn't the first time that Dalmore has shown an appreciation for Graham's casks - a trio of releases from mid-2017 were all finished in Graham's Port casks

Nose: Clove-studded orange, rich raspberry and prune, a touch of sponge cake.

Palate: Chocolatey at first, before waves of dried fruit and stem ginger notes appear. A touch of earthy bitterness develops later on, balanced by runny honey.

Finish: Roast chestnuts, gingerbread and tobacco.
