The 2023 Quartet returns to the Bordeaux blend format Arietta employed prior to the 2021 vintage: similar amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with a modest percentage of Cabernet Franc and a wee dram of Petit Verdot. With the percentage of new oak held at 20%, the Quartet 2023 will drink well upon release, while the rich skin tannins common to the 2023 reds should support aging for ten years.
