Trois Noix Chardonnay Muir Hanna Vineyard 2020 750ml
TASTING NOTES
2020 was a roller coaster, but it had a few bright spots, not least of which was an offer from Mike Hanna for some grapes from his hallowed 38 year-old H4 block of Chardonnay at Muir Hanna. We blended this with our beloved Angel Block that we already knew and loved and voilà - intense deliciousness ensued! This Chardonnay offers delicate notes of white peach, green apple, and jasmine. We chose to forego any malolactic fermentation to maintain the fruit’s freshness and purity of expression, resulting in a wine with a medium body, crisp acidity, and minerality.
