The Malt Whisky is double distilled in copper alembics at the Kurayoshi Distillery and the grain whiskies are sourced from unnamed distilleries. It's proofed with the soft groundwater of Totorri Prefecture’s Mount Daisen. Primary aging occurs in ex-Bourbon barrels and the whisky is finished in custom casks made from American oak staves and Sakura (Japanese cherry wood) heads. Non-age stated, it is bottled at 40% ABV without chill filtration.
