There is instantly recognizable marzipan followed by aromas of ripe stone fruit like peaches, prunes, and cherries, with each seasonal batch of liqueur offering up its own unique profile. The palate is sweet, but it's entirely in balance with the tart pucker from the fruit, and it finishes with notes of chocolate taffy and preserved lemon.
