Parker's Heritage Collection 19th Edition introduces a cask-strength 11 year old American Whiskey, composed of an experimental 3-mashbill blend. The first component is an Old-Fitz inspired wheated bourbon (68% corn, 20% wheat, 12% malted barley) that comprises 40% of the blend. The second, an elevated 11 year old whiskey reminiscent of Mellow Corn (80% corn, 12% malted barley, 8% rye) that represents 20% of the blend. Finally, a 50/50 split between rye and malted barley which we haven't seen before, which rounds off the final 40% of PHC 19. Bottled at 61.25% ABV or 122.5-proof, this unique cask-strength American Whiskey is one of the finest releases in the Heritage Collection to date, and certainly one of the most obscure, boundary-pushing offerings we've come across.
