Chapter 3 celebrates Sir Arthur John Tedder, the Glengoyne exciseman who helped define the laws for Scotch whisky as we know it today. This release highlights the finest American oak Sherry casks in the Glengoyne warehouse. The cask makeup is 22% first fill Bourbon, 32% American oak Sherry, 8% European oak Sherry, and 38% hand selected refill Sherry and Bourbon casks. It's a well balanced and nuanced whisky bottled at 48% ABV and without chill filtration or added color. Nose: Mixed berry jam, vanilla apple strudel, deep sherry notes, cinnamon sticks and pear. Taste: Rich body, chewy with boozy raisins, spiced buns, tarte tatin and cream sherry. Finish: Light and fruity, deepens with pineapple, dried fruits dark chocolate and lingering spice
