Each Fall , Charbay received samples of fresh pomegranates from a family-run farm in Central California. The decision to make a pomegranate vodka took a matter of minutes. "Pomegranates have a unique earthy, floral-spicy flavor - you can't invent that in a flavor factory," says 13th generation distiller Marko Karakasevic. Fresh pomegranates macerated with Charbay's award-winning Clear Vodka, make for a perfect sipping fruit vodka. It makes a pretty mean cocktail, too.
