Domaine Camus Bruchon & Fils Savigny Les Beaune Cuvee Reine Joly 2021 750ml

This cuvée is named after current owner Guillaume Camus’s great-grandmother, who planted many of the domaine’s vineyards. It is made from six different lieux-dits; Aux Pointes, Dessus Les Vermots, Goudelettes, Champs des Pruniers, Planchots de la Champagne and Aux Fourches. These were mainly planted in the 1960s by Guillaume’s father or grandmother.

The nose has a lovely energy, with raspberry and red cherry bursting out. It’s juicy and crunchy with subtle floral touches and a chalky, persistent finish. Made in larger oak barrels, with just 10% new wood, this allows the pure and vivid red fruit to shine through.
