Brouilly Vieiles Vignes Jean-Claude Lapalu Beaujolais 2022 750ml
This vintage comes from old Gamay vines planted on granite soils. The grapes are harvested by hand and the vinification is done in whole bunches, by carbonic maceration, in the pure Beaujolais tradition, for approximately two weeks. The pressing is done using a vertical table press, which is gentle and lasts approximately 24 hours. The process continues with malolactic fermentation. The assembly is then done at the beginning of the year and then the aging is done in stainless steel vats. When tasting this brouilly exudes aromas of small, ripe red fruits and stony notes and rose petals; it is fruity, generous, round, deep, dense, balanced and dynamic with tannins very present on the finish. This wine goes very well with many hard cheeses. A great Beaujolais wine!
