Berta Oltre il Vallo Grappa Invecchiata 750ml

Oltre in Vallo - a brandy that matures for 24 months in oak casks and 6 months in single malt Scotch whisky casks. It combines the Highlands and Monferrato, as the casks come from the oldest and most renowned distilleries in Scotland: Lagavulin, Caol Ila and Mortlach, which have made the history of the best Scotch whisky.

Amber in colour, soft and mild in taste. At the beginning an explosion of flavours rich in dried fruit and almonds, followed by notes of smoke, peat, malt, tobacco and honey. Very exquisite. SUPERIORE.DE

"Intense, precise nose. Ripe, light-coloured stone fruit, honey, with intense peaty-smoky notes and clear nuances of marc. Slightly sweet and soft on the palate, the smokiness is initially in the background, but then builds up in the finish, reminiscent of Scotch. Lingers long and intensely."
